Internet in Malaysia started around year of 1997, and it's getting more and more popular after 2000's.

As I still remember, having a hotmail account during primary school is awesome enough, and you will be a brilliant star with a friendster account which required you to be 13 or above for an account. And you do in friendster is probably TESTI, TESTI, TESTI AND TESTI.

And years later, BLOGs start, so people start writting blogs, and you start reading diaries, reviews, of course advertisements.

And now, SOCIAL MEDIAS, facebook, twitter and more. Back to the BLOG time, you get to know 10% of your friends' lifes. Now social media, you know more than 50%, at least who they are flirting with, who their partner, parents, siblings and of course where are they studying/working.

With live updates availlable, you know where your friends are heading to, with who and of course for what.

When I'm in primary school, I know that my pretty girl friend is indeed popular but I'll never know how POPULAR. Now social medias happened, look at the # of friends in facebook, # of followers in tweeter, WOW! INDEED POPULAR.

Social medias have somehow changed our life. Years ago, only celebrities have their relationship status published. But now almost everyone can announce their relationship. Of course, when you announce it since begining, you gonna do the same when it's ended.

When someone want to tell the world that he is emo-ing, he need not go on TV or newspapers, social media will do.

Then companies started to switch the way they operated. You see pages, you see nominations for BLAH BLAH BLAH, then soon you friends say "I've joined this blah blah, please like blah page, and vote for me." Then for every new activity of that BLAH company, it's appeared on your WALL.

Forums started to copy paste articles everywhere,bar it halfway, required you to like it or comment to UNBAR it. Why? The more likes they get, the more advertisement they going to receive, and they earn more.

And then MLM will not go door to door anymore, through internet, through tagging you the pictures of stacks of money and luxury cars, you get attracted, BOOM! you fell into it, your friends soon going to be dragged in.

A good thing now spread fast in social medias, and bad things even faster.

People including KIDS start publishing about politics, commenting about issues.

They source? Social medias.

They output? Social medias too.

People start to forget about what true and what not, people just want to impress, post something critisize, emo, happy, get as many likes as possible, hopefully, the girls they like see it and feel "Wow, he is so mature thinking." But it's not helping the world.

Social medias somehow created the boundary accidentally.

You may have know someone who seem to be cheerful but his facebook statuses are just =(.

You start questioning yourself, is he =) or =(.

You wouldn't know which one is real.

Social medias may help you know someone more, but still may made you don't know someone more, how? Figure it out.
